A native of Connecticut, Fr. Jacob-Bertrand Janczyk, O.P. graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY in 2010. He entered the Order of Preachers that same summer and made his simple vows in 2011. He earned a Masters of Divinity (2016), a Baccalaureate of Sacred Theology (2015), and Licentiate in Sacred Theology (2017) from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. Fr. Jacob-Bertrand made his solemn vows in 2014 and was ordained a priest in May 2017. After his ordination he served as the assistant chaplain at Aquinas House, the Catholic campus ministry at Dartmouth College from 2017-2018. From 2018-2022, he served as the Director of Vocations of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph in Washington, DC. He is also a host on the podcasts Godsplaining and Ascension Presents Catholic Classics, the co-author of St. Dominic’s Way of Life: A Path to Knowing and Loving God.

Originally from the Boston area, Jessica received a Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC in the area of liturgical studies. In addition to serving at St. Denis, Jessica is an adjunct professor for The Catholic University of America’s Doctor of Ministry program, as well as St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry. Previously, Jessica served as the Associate Campus Minister for Liturgy and Worship at Catholic University. She has a deep love of the liturgy and a desire to share the faith with all ages, particularly parents and their families. She and her husband homeschool their 5 children and live in Chelsea, Vermont.


Pablo Gorin

Pablo has recently served as Collaborative Pianist and Organ Instructor at Keene State College. Prior to this appointment, he was the Associate Director of Music and Cathedral Organist at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, in Albany, New York. At the Cathedral, Pablo developed and run the Diocesan Organist Training Program, a course of organ studies devoted to promoting the education and dissemination of organ performance across the region. Pablo earned the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Iowa in 2018, concentrating in Organ Performance and Pedagogy. As part of his doctoral research, he was granted the Stanley Award for International Research of the University of Iowa, which enabled him to investigate the manuscripts of the organ works of Alberto Ginastera (1916-1983) at the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel, Switzerland.

In his spare time Pablo enjoys spending time with his Catahoula dog named Jasmine, going on long walks or playing ball in the woods. Pablo also enjoys reading Russian literature, and listening to music, especially that of Sergei Rachmaninov.
